If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, do not download, register with, or use the Paws QuiVive App ("App"). By downloading, creating or registering an account, or subscribing to services via the App, and/or continuing to use the App, you agree to this Policy. If at any time you no longer agree to this Policy, please open the App on your mobile device, go to the menu icon ☰ on the home page, select Delete User Account and then delete the App from your device. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Policy. This Policy describes:
- the types of information We collect or may collect, or that you provide or may provide, when you download, install, create or register an account with Us, and/or access, subscribe to, or use the App and/or services provided to you via your use of the App ("Services"), and
- Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This Policy applies only to information you provide or that We collect via the App.
Unless as otherwise required by law, this Policy DOES NOT apply to information that:
- We collect offline or on any other Company apps or websites, including websites you may access through this App;
- you provide to or is collected by any third party either online or offline;
- offline/off-App communications;
- communications between any designated ICE Contact and a third party or non-user of the App, and Emergency Service Providers.
Third parties may have their own privacy policies, which may or may not apply to information We obtain from them. We strongly encourage you to read all third-party privacy policies before providing information to any third party.
This Policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the App after We revise the Policy means you accept those changes, so please check the Policy periodically for updates.
Children Under the Age of 16
The App is not intended for children under 16 years of age, and We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If We learn We have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, We will delete that information. If you believe We might have any personal information from or about an individual child under 16, please contact Us
Information We Collect and How We Collect It
We collect information from and about users of the App when the App is downloaded, installed, and used:
- Directly from you when you provide it to US.
- Automatically when you download, install, and use the App.
We do not knowingly collect Protected Health Information as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), 45 U.S.C. Part 164, et. seq.
Information You Provide to Us
When you download, create or register an account, subscribe to Services via the App, or otherwise use the App, We may ask you provide certain information, including information:
- by which you may be personally identified with or without the aggregation of information about you that you provide or that We obtain from third parties or public resources (e.g., name, postal address, email address, telephone number, age, date of birth, familial relationship(s) and any other identifier by which you may be identified and or contacted online or offline ("personal information"), and specifically, your name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code; and postal address if you opt to enable Notify Local Police/EMS functionality on the App.
- the name and phone number, and optionally, email address and relationship to you, of any individual you designate as an “ICE Contact”.
- User Photo, if provided.

- when you input it into the App or when you communicate with Us.
Automatic Information Collection
When you download, access, and use the App, it may use technology to automatically collect:
- Usage Details. When you access and use the App, We may automatically collect certain details of your access to and use of the App, including location data, system logs, communications data related to the sending and receiving of messages and calls, and the resources that you access and use on or through the App, including when engaging with any third party advertisement via the App.
- Device Information. We may collect information about your mobile device and internet connection, including the device's unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, browser type, mobile network information, and the device's telephone number.
- Stored Information and Files. The App also may access metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your device. This may include, for example, photographs, audio and video clips, personal contacts, and address book information. Your device may have individual, customizable settings that require you to grant the App permission to access, use, and/or transmit this information to Us. You may or may not be able to fully use the App without granting such permissions.
- Location Information. This App does not currently collect information about the location of your device. If this changes, you will be notified and provided the opportunity to grant your consent before the App collects location data.
We may use these technologies as well as the information you provide to aid in the determination of whether you or a loved one may be experiencing a medical emergency and whether a designated person or authority is automatically contacted by the App.
Information Collection Technologies
The technologies We use for the above automatic information collection may include:
- Cookies (or mobile cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on your device. It may be possible to refuse to accept cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your device. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts or functionalities of the App.
- Web Beacons. Web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) are small electronic files that provide usage data to Us and permit Us or a third party to, for example, analyze usage data in the App and engagement with advertisements.
- Other Technologies. We may also utilize other similar technologies for obtaining information for the purposes of improving the App, offering technical support, analyzing App usage, and Our own internal and/or research purposes.
Third-Party Information Collection
When you use the App, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device. These third parties may include:
- Advertisers, ad networks, and ad servers, for example, Google Ads;
- Analytics companies, for example, Google Analytics;
- Your mobile device manufacturer;
- Your internet and/or mobile service provider;
- Local law enforcement and first responders; and
- Any other party to whom you have granted consent.
Some or all of these third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use this App. We do not control these third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

How We Use Your Information
We use information that We collect about you or that you provide to US, including any personal information, to:
- Provide you with the App and its contents, features, and functionalities; Our Services; and any other information, products, or services that you request from US;
- This is includes disclosing personal information to your ICE Contact and/or Emergency Service Providers (which the App will determine based on your provided location);
- Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it, including for any purposes set forth herein or disclosed at the time of providing the personal information;
- Provide information, notices, and support with respect to Our subscription Services;
- Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and US, including for billing and collection;
- In accordance with any law, legal obligation, judicial order, or the like;
- Notify you when App updates are available, and of changes to any products or Services; and
- Improve the App and Our Services.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated information about App users and information that does not personally identify an individual without restriction.
In addition, We may disclose personal information that We collect or you provide to:
- A Local Police Department that is or becomes a subscriber to Our Services if a user elects to turn on the "Notify Local Police Department" feature. Specifically, such information will be disclosed via SMS message and contain the following: notification of non-response, user's name, address and phone number; ICE contact name and phone number.
- Our subsidiaries and affiliates, and to Our contractors, service providers, and other third parties We use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which We disclose it to them;
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Us about Our App users is among the assets transferred;
- Third parties subject to your consent and to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it;
- Comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request;
- Enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and US;
- Take appropriate action if We believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect Our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers, or others in imminent danger.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information without your consent and only as detailed herein, and We do not provide your personal information to third parties for direct marketing or other commercial purposes.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights and choices, although some of the functionality and features available on the App or of the Service may change or no longer be available to you. Any difference in the App is related to the value provided from the data deleted or restricted.
